CPS HOMES IS CLUB’S FIRST OFFICIAL SPONSOR!

Cardiff City Table Tennis Club are delighted to announce that leading lettings and estate agency business CPS Homes has become the club’s first ever official sponsor. The club hopes that our partnership with CPS, a successful Cathays-based business who already sponsor the Cardiff Blues rugby team, will help establish the club as a major part of the city’s sporting landscape, whilst maintaining our close connection to the local area.

CPS Homes was first established in the year 2000 by Emma and Barrie James who, like many others, had spent their university years living locally in rented accommodation. Emma James later said of her experience that “while I loved Roath, I realised that students weren’t being given the same quality of service by letting agents as professionals were. We set out to change this.”

In the years that followed CPS were able to expand their portfolio from student lettings on to property management and, most recently, to residential sales. Like their range of services, the CPS customer base has also now broadened far beyond the student bubble. Emma, Barrie and their team currently provide tailored services for tenants, landlords, investors, buyers, sellers or anyone simply seeking some advice about the property market.

The expansion at CPS has been driven by a steady tide of returning customers keen to do more business with the company and to introduce others to their comprehensive range of services. “We’ve always prided ourselves on being approachable and honest with our customers and I think that’s why so many people come back to us”, says Emma. “We’ve had quite a few people rent with us as students and, since graduating, have bought investment properties so they’ve come back to us and asked if we can find them tenants.”

Today CPS Homes oversees over around eight hundred houses and flats right across the city. Their logo is a regular sight on property boards from Rhiwbina to the Bay, as well as on ad campaigns across the city’s buses and billboards. Securing a new partnership deal with such a high profile business testifies not only to the quality of play and facilities on offer at Cardiff City Table Tennis Club, but also to the club’s ambition of becoming, like CPS, a major feature of the city.

So what’s the secret of the CPS success story? Director Emma Jones puts it down to a strong connection between CPS and the local area. “What really marks us out is that we aren’t a national company – our knowledge is of our city, so we know Cardiff and its locals pretty well. You can guarantee we understand your goals and aspirations because they’re ours too.” CPS’s support of Cardiff City Table Tennis Club helps strengthen these ties with the city as CPS continue to support their local community by facilitating access to high quality sports facilities in the area.

If you’re looking for a house in Cardiff then a huge database of properties for sale or let, ranging from bargain student digs in Cathays to luxury apartments on the waterfront, all awaits on the CPS website. If you have a property that you’re thinking of letting or selling then CPS Homes can help you get that process moving as well with a free marketing appraisal.
